Steve Trott is the Director of Facilities for the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, Georgia. In that capacity he is responsible for day to day operations of a multidiscipline cultural arts institution. The Art Center houses the Atlanta Symphony, Alliance Theatre and High Museum of Atlanta. This facility presents unique challenges in both operations and special environmental requirements.
In addition to his role at The Woodruff Arts Center, Mr. Trott has 30 years of experience in the commercial real-estate industry. He has performed similar duties for full service real estate firms in the Southeast. He has participated in numerous RFPs, performed due diligence studies for transactions and been involved with business critical contingency planning. Mr. Trott provided corporate level technical support at CBRE and Carter with responsibility for a diverse portfolio of 40 million square feet. While at Carter, in addition to multi-tenant services, he was directly responsible for several large corporate facility operations in a tactical role. Mr. Trott has also worked for Equitable Real-Estate, Trammell Crow Company and Childress-Klein.
Mr. Trott has experience in managing MEP projects, including modernization, energy upgrades and remedial work. He attended Technical School, possesses hands-on technical expertise and holds a State of Georgia Mechanical Contractors License.
